Appendix I - DATABASE DEFINITION FOR ADVANCED USERS

The SEED Tool allows to define the database where the information is stored to be managed.

The CRISOPEYA technology is compatible with the majority of the Databases available in the market, both internal (embedded) or external. Specifically CRISOPEYA is compatible with the databases shown next:

To work with any of these compatible databases you must select the “Select an external or internal database from compatible databases list” option on the Database definition windows on the SEED Tool.

Press the Next button to continue.

The following window with the compatible databases list will be shown:

Select the Database you want to work with from the list. SEED also allows you to define the connection parameters to the Database.

If you do not want to define the connection parameters on the SEED tool, they will be required when you first start your application.

In case you want to include the Database connection parameters on the user requirements definition of the SEED tool, select the "Yes" option on "Include the definition of the database connection parameters?" and press Next. The following window will be shown:

To help define the database connection URL you can press on the icon Utility.

Once the database connection parameters are defined press the Next button to continue.
